About Us

The Dance Lab Co. (TDLC) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2020, as a way to give disabled adults the opportunity they deserve to be visual artists in an integrated environment. Starting with just six students, The Dance Lab Co. has rapidly grown to share the joy of dance with students of many ages and backgrounds.

Split up into spring, summer, and fall sessions, TDLC offers hour-long classes two to three times a week in various genres including ballet, modern, lyrical, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and choreography. Classes are offered in an integrated format, where a small group of select dancers from the local area participate in The Dance Lab Co. classes.

Our Mission

"Where Everyone Is Able"

At The Dance Lab Co., we believe that everyone deserves the chance to dance. We incorporate teaching both dance technique and encouraging individuality in an integrated environment. Integration to us means having both pre-professional dancers from the Triad area and individuals with disabilities in the same studio dancing, socializing, and working together.
